Pictorial techniques

Level 1 - Introduction to pictorial techniques

Level 2 - Introduction to integrated techniques

Level 3 - In-depth study and development of
             these techniques

Our impression and perception of any pictorial artwork changes
substantially depending on the technique used in its execution.
There is a difference between painting on a canvas and painting
on a wall, and is not the same to paint using oil than to do it using
watercolor, pastels, ink, etc. Everything can change depending on
the pictorial material being used, contour lines, surfaces, colors,
the overall perception, and even the feeling that the artwork generates.

In this course, we will be introduced to the most known and emblematic
pictorial techniques, and we will acquire a solid knowledge of each
technique’s potential. Then, we will approach the integrated techniques,
experimenting and researching using the technical resources we have
learned in class.
